[Resolvido] Automação de digitalização de documentos

Olá pessoal! Sou novo no forum e preciso da ajuda dos vocês!

Estou trabalhando num sistema e preciso automatizar a rotina de digitalização de documentos de maneira que eu consiga fazê-la por dentro do MS Access 2003, ou seja, preciso de uma ferramenta que me permita iniciar o scaner, digitalizar o documento e salvar o arquivo, de preferencia no formato "jpg", diretamente numa pasta previamente informada. Alguém já trabalhou com essa rotina e pode me ajudar?

Eis uma rotina:

Requirements to use the VBA code:
 
1)  The scanner you use has to be a TWAIN compatible scanner.
2)  In VBA, you must include reference to Microsoft Windows Image Acquisition 2.0 dll
3)  This
 code was built for a single sheet scanner like the Brother DS600 mobile
 scanner.   You may need to tweak this code for other types of scanners 
(such as a scanner that is an autofeed or a flatbed scanner).
4)  This code only works with documents of up to 10 pages in 
length.   To scan more than 10 pages into one document, you would need 
to tweak the code to allow it to do so. 
5)  Before you run the code, you must create an Access table called
 "scantemp".   This table has 2 fields:   an autonumber ID field, and a 
field called "picture" which is a hyperlink data type.
6)  You must create an Access report called "rptScan" .   This 
report's recordsource is the scantemp table.   This report has only 1 
object on it:   an image field whose control source is the "picture" 
field in the scantemp table.   This image field has been sized to fit 
the entire page (8.5 x 11).
7)  The built in ability to output an Access report to a pdf file 
(see the "DoCmd.OutputTo acOutputReport, RptName, acFormatPDF, 
strFilePDF" line in the code below) only works I believe with Access 
2007 and Access 2010.

Com relação a rotina que você gentilmente postou, gostaria de saber se você tem o BD com o formulário, ou se pode indicar onde encontrar, pois dada a complexidade da mesma, seria interessante se eu pudesse visualizar os controles a que fazem referencia. Se isso não for possível, você poderia dar mais detalhes como por exemplo se é necessário o registro de alguma DLL ou OCX?

O código que você postou inicialmente me pareceu complexo demais e resolvi adotar a OCX "Access Imagine" para atender minha necessidade, e me parece que ela será realmente a solução aplicável, mas só decidirei isso com convicção após uma longa sequência de testes, no entanto, verifiquei que esta ferramenta guarda a criptografia da imagem no campo que acoplamos a ela e isso gerou um pequeno problema de espaço, pois, fiz duas digitalizações num BD virgem e o mesmo passou de 92KB para 11,5MB, fiz uma compactação do banco e o ultimo estado foi 1,5MB, ou seja, agora preciso de uma rotina que me permita compactar o BD back-and através do Front-and, tendo em vista que meu sistema certamente trabalhará com quantidades acima de 10.000 registros e cada um deles terá uma imagem acoplada, tenho a impressão que isso tornará o sistema muito lento. O que você acha?

Bem.. se ele grava em um campo ole, deve haver um jeito de exportar em jpg.. na propria pagina do site deve ter instruções.. ainda não baixei essa ocx... Minha net ta uma porcaria esses dias...

Sim deixarei em aberto, até porque estou fazendo testes aqui e estão aparecendo algumas complicações. Tá me parecendo que o caminho mais fácil é o mais complicado!

Bom, resumindo tudo até aqui, analisei a rotina que vc postou e verifiquei que a mesma é referente ao access 2007, eu uso porém, o 2003 e ficou inviável utiliza-la, então vasculhei com mais calma a internet e encontrei um controle OCX que funciona perfeitamente no access 2003 e deve servir também no 2007 em diante. Fiz os testes e a unica desvantagem é que ela é uma Demo e coloca uma unica vez uma mensagem em inglês informando isso, 1 minuto após a abertura do formulário, porém suas funções estão todas desbloqueadas. Deixarei aqui um ZIP com o BD de exemplo e o controle OCX. Tive o cuidado de dar uma melhorada no visual do formulário original, pois estava tudo em inglês e tava bem desorganizado. Lá tem os dois formulários, o original e o alterado. para o controle funcionar basta fazer referencia ao controle na janela de referencias do VBA.
